BIT POOL SYSTEM
BIT POOL SYSTEM analyzes energy consumption and water conditions in real time. The system is set up in a modular way so moving from the basic solution it is possible to implement additional packages later in time with minimal expenditure. This extends the area of optimal operation and therefore the overall savings.
BIT POOL SYSTEM can be installed as a retrofit with minimal interventions that do not require plant shutdowns. It can be installed either on new plants already equipped with inverters and on older plants upgrading the technology. The system acts on the frequency of the pumps after elaboration of data collected by a nephelometric probe of simple installation. A bypass allows at any time to manually restore the pre-intervention conditions.

In collaboration with an E.S.CO (Energy Service Company) leader in the sector we are able to offer, as an alternative to the purchase, an E.P.C. (Energy Performance Contract) with savings guarantee.
This solution can be implemented by means of an energy performance contract (E.P.C.): E.S.CO finances the entire plant and returns its investment through the savings generated.

ANALYSIS OF AN EXISTING PLANT
BIT swimming pool efficiency system is already installed on various pools with great customer satisfaction. The data here presented derive from an analysis of a system installed on a swimming pool in the city of Trento (Italy) consisting on a 25 m main pool and a 10 m smaller pool.
Before the installation of the system, the pump consumption of the swimming pool was monitored. In this way it was possible to make a precise comparison between the consumption of electricity before and after the intervention.

The results obtained confirmed the effectiveness of the system: during the first year of installation, the Pool Efficiency System has led to a saving on electrical consumption of the pumps by 43% compared to the pre-intervention conditions. Depending on the size of the swimming pool, the payback time ranges between 1 and 2 years.
Furthermore, the following factors that generate more economical and quality value must be considered:
- The BIT system, gradually modulating the performance of the pumps, reduces wear and extends their technical life;
- Less water circulation means less chemicals and less heat loss;
- The system ensures constant monitoring of turbidity parameters, allowing you to always keep under control and record the quality of the water. The histograms of the figure shows the result of the real application during year 2018.
